√ Santorini Volcano Tours

11:00 - 14:00

The tour departs daily from the old port of Fira, at 11:00 in the morning. After only 10 minutes by boat, we'll be arriving at the harbor of Erinia which is the name of the small volcano bay, where we'll be docking for about 1 hour and 15 minutes, during which, if you want, you can follow the path to the top where active craters are. Next we'll be moving to the island of Palea Kameni for the hot springs, the famous mud baths, which were formed as result of volcanic eruptions. In the small bay of Agios Nikolaos the water temperature ranges from 30 to 35 degrees Celsius, as it mixes continuously with the normal sea currents. The boat will be staying here about 30 minutes to allow you a healthy bath. After the bath, you will return to the old port of Fira at 14:00.

10:45 - 16:15

A tour of the islands of the Caldera with a traditional boat that leaves from the old port in Fira at 10:45 to the volcano, just 10 minutes far by boat, where you will stop for about 1 hour and 15 minutes during which you will have the opportunity to visit all active craters. A walk of about 20 minutes will take you to the top of the volcano where you will see still smoking craters and breathe an intense smell of sulfur. The tour will continue by boat to the island of Nea Kameni to continue to Palea Kameni, for the Hot Springs. The boat will stop in the small bay of Agios Nikolaos, with a ladder you can dive in the water and swim for about 30 meters until you reach the famous thermal spas of Palaia Kameni, where the water temperature ranges from 30 to 35 degrees Celsius as it mixes continuously with the normal sea currents. The tour continues to the island of Thirassia where you will have 2 hours of free time to swim in the crystal clear waters of Korfos or to eat in the traditional taverns of the island. You will also have time to move on foot or riding donkeys to the village of Manolas, which is very picturesque, with narrow streets and a beautiful view of Santorini. After Thirassia, we start returning to the old port, sailing close to the volcanic cliffs of Oia to allow you to photograph this unique setting. The arrival is at 16:15 in the picturesque old port of Fira.

15:30 - 20:30

A romantic and quiet tour as if you were on a cruise boat. It starts from the old port of Fira at 15:30 with a wooden sailing boat. After a short trip of 10 minutes you reach the small port of Nea Kameni, with its active volcano. You will have approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes to visit this wild landscape with various volcanic rocks and craters, from where smoke still comes out with strong smell of sulfur. The tour continues to the island of Palea Kameni, with its hot springs. The boat will stop in the small bay of Agios Nikolaos where you can dive in the waters and swim for about 30 meters to reach to the famous mud baths, with water temperatures between 30 to 35 degrees Celsius. After this beneficial swim, the boat will sail around the Caldera allowing you to take beautiful pictures of the landscape and houses perched on the edge of the cliff. Sipping a good glass of local wine, while listening to soft music, you will admire the wonderful colors of the Santorini sunset. After sunset, the boat will return to the old port of Fira.

10:30 - 17:00

The tour starts at 10:30 at our office in the central square of Fira, where our bus is waiting to take you to the new port of Athinios, where you'll board to start the sightseeing trip to the volcano, which is reached after about 15-20 minutes. You will have approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes to walk to visit the active craters. There is a path that reaches the top, where you can see the smoke coming from the craters, breathing the strong smell of sulfur. To follow this path it will take about 20-30 minutes each way. The boat tour will continue with destination Palea Kameni, for the Hot Springs. The boat will stop in the small bay of Agios Nikolaos, and with a ladder you can dive into the waters and swim for about 30 meters until you reach the famous thermal spas of Palaia Kameni, where the water temperature ranges from 30 to 35 degrees Celsius as it mixes continuously with the normal sea currents. The tour continues to the island of Thirassia where you will have 2 hours of free time to swim in the crystal clear waters of Korfos or to eat in the traditional taverns of the island.
